In my early twenties, I came across Liszt's "Un Sospiro" and fell in love. One of the hardest piano pieces I've attempted, and yet the title means "a sigh." The music feels like it. A few weeks ago, I inherited my mom's grand piano, a cherished gift. The first song I wanted to try was "Un Sospiro." But since it's Christmas time, the melody of "Silent Night" was roaming around my thoughts. So I decided to join the two together. To me, this song feels like a prayer. I hope it does to you as well.
