Next May, after many postponements, I hope to be heading on a trip to Israel (my third). Israel is my favorite place to visit because of the richness of its history, the complexities of its people, and the spirit of the Holy Land.
As I read the words to "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel", I felt particularly drawn to the plea of this song, the plea of a lost people calling for redemption. In some ways, it feels more like a plea for the Savior's Second Coming and echoes the calls of my own heart.
I arranged this piece a few years ago, but recently added Intermediate Piano, SSA and TTBB versions.
